!g0iRC
!g0iRC is an Internet Relay Chat client for Acorn/RISC OS computers.

Loosely based upon the Windows mIRC IRC client, g0iRC is a full featured IRC client that can work on a multitude of servers all over the internet.

Some features include:
  • Works on IRCnet, DALnet, Quakenet, EFnet, openprojects/freenode, and many other IRC servers.
  • Scripting Language support. Build your own scripts (in the form of other WIMP programs).
  • Macro support - make minature scripts to run at the click of a mouse button.
  • Can easily handle channels with over 1000 people in, without slowing down or locking up the computer, unlike other IRC clients.
  • Comprehensive channel control interface - easily see any restrictions on an IRC client from a simple click in the channel window.
  • *FULL* mIRC style ASCII art support with colour! Fully tested *exact* emulation of mIRCs colour system enabling you to see even the most complex ascii art.
  • Uses ZapRedraw for fast screen updates.
  • Speak and Speech! support - listen to a conversation on IRC.
  • Uses the standard WimpCTCP libraries allowing easy extensions to IRC ctcp protocol (such as FACE, etc)
  • Built in portscan detector - Alerts you to people being nosey.
  • Built in tool for portscanning other people - be nosey yourself.
  • Channel logging - log everything ever said/done in a channel to a file.
  • Options for automatic reconnect upon disconnect, server hopping, etc.
  • Many other small features
